Dr. Angelo Farooq

Dr. Angelo Farooq, of Riverside, is the owner of AVM innovation Consulting, LLC. Angelo is elected as the President of the Riverside Unified School Board. He also serves as the Founding Director of the UC Riverside Center for Economic Development & Innovation (CEDI). Angelo is appointed by California Treasurer Fiona Ma to co-chair her Housing, Economic Development, Job Creation & Opportunity Zone advisory committee and appointed by California Controller Betty Yee on her Council of Economic Advisors. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California at Berkeley; his Master’s, and his Doctorate of Policy, Planning and Development degrees from the University of Southern California.
