Strategic Workforce Development Plan

California’s Unified Strategic State Plan (State Plan) brings together partners under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. The plan guides elements of public policy, investment in workforce funding, and operation of the state’s workforce and education systems.

The US Department of Labor requires states to review and submit modifications to their State Plans at the two-year point that reflect any changes in the labor market and economic conditions, or other factors affecting implementation.

For questions or to request additional information about the State Plan, please email PolicyUnit@cwdb.ca.gov.
