FUNDING SOURCE INFORMATION
High Road Training Partnerships are supported by the CWDB in coordination with the LWDA and various annual state fund allocations.
The 2022-23 Budget Year includes the following funding sources:
- $19 Million: To support the Low Carbon Economy Grant Program. Funds are available until June 30, 2025, and funds are set aside until June 30, 2027.
- $14.25 Million: For the development of the Oil and Gas Well Capping Pilot initiative in Kern and Los Angeles Counties. Funds may be used by state apprenticeship programs to develop curricula for training apprentices and to upskill journeypersons on well-capping projects. Funds are available until June 30, 2025, and set aside until June 30, 2027.
