The Prison to Employment (P2E) program provides funding to help formerly incarcerated and justice-involved Californians find good jobs and build stable careers. Since its inception in 2018, CWDB has led this effort by creating strong pathways for these populations to reenter the workforce.  

With P2E funding, experienced workforce service providers can support individuals who reenter the workforce by providing valuable services such as career coaching, interview preparation, and on-the-job training. The program also invests in critical wraparound services to address barriers like limited education, unstable housing, substance use, and mental health issues, ensuring participants have the resources they need to succeed.
