Travis Baker is a grant evaluation specialist, working to uncover best practices and provide evidence-based  recommendations for workforce policy development. Travis enjoys exploring data and finding new insights, along with crafting ever-simpler ways to communicate his findings. Prior to coming to CWDB, he was a Visiting Assistant Professor at UC Davis, where he published peer-reviewed research articles and taught the basics of policy analysis to hundreds of undergraduates. He earned his Ph.D. in political science from UCLA. In his free time, Travis enjoys skiing and traveling to new places.
