Sherry leads the Statewide Partnerships Team in coordinating and facilitating workforce partnership activities at the state, regional, and local levels in support of WIOA and other CWDB initiatives.  Her experience in policy development and implementation, stakeholder engagement, and project management inform her thoughtful approach to public service and partnership development.  Prior to joining CWDB, Sherry was with the California Department of Social Services developing and implementing various program and policy initiatives, including managing the development of regulations for the CalFresh and Nutrition Branch and overseeing statewide partnerships with regional training academies for the education and training of public child welfare workers.  Outside of work, Sherry enjoys traveling, trying new things, and is most creative cooking up dishes for her friends and family.  Sherry is first generation Chinese American.
