Sandra has had the privilege of serving many different populations throughout her 12-year career. Some of them include folks with disabilities, women healing from trauma, and those receiving public assistance. She has been a supervisor and manager for most of those years and most recently was a supervisor over workforce development for Yolo County. Sandra supported the WIOA team and the AJCC there. Prior to that, she worked within a consortium at Mather Community Campus with the Department of Human Assistance for Sacramento County, assisting homeless families and individuals with preparing for employment. Sandra has a passion for helping others tap into their creative process and their potential, and that includes the staff that she supports. She is an MoM, a Mother of a Marine, and she feels as though she’s been drafted since she didn’t choose to join the military. Sandra loves to cook, bake, spend time with her loved ones and animals, binge-watch horror flicks and series, and redecorate her house.
