One lesson Myranda learned when she began career in civil service at the CA Department of Justice was to keep serving people at the heart of everything she does. Helping lift people out of poverty through employment motivates her to come to work every day, because she learned early on that a job is so much more than just a paycheck. A quality job has the power to uplift your dignity, your family, and your community. Myranda’s favorite things to do outside of work include swimming, travelling, hiking, and playing guitar.
