With a decade of workforce experience, Mayra loves working for a system which puts people first and allows for the implementation of innovative strategies to improve the lives of the most vulnerable in our communities. Through her experience, Mayra has learned that, regardless of one’s background or walk of life, we all desire a lot of the same things, which include personal security for ourselves and our families and the adequate employment and resources to sustain them. Her perspective, coupled with her own personal background, allows her to be a good resource when thinking outside of the box and finding innovative ways to provide equitable services to workers in California. In her free time, Mayra loves nature and spending time with loved ones while, “eating all the food!”
