As a Field Specialist, Jesse looks forward to bringing his work experience at the intersection of environmental justice and workforce development to connect historically disinvested communities to resources. He began his time with CWDB as a Program Analyst with the Workforce Accelerator Fund, where he provided technical assistance to grantees around grant administration, participant and fiscal reporting, and WIOA compliance. Before state service, Jesse was in the nonprofit sector, where he led research and program management for urban agriculture programs working alongside unhoused veterans, justice-involved individuals, and transition-age youth. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, walking his pug Melvin, and jogging around his hometown of Norwalk, California.
