Ashley loves working in policy and legislation because of the positive impact informed laws and policies can have on communities. Ashley’s passion for equity and justice, as well as her education and experience, motivate her to create policy that promotes economic security and self-sufficiency for all Californians. With a background in research and psychology, she believes in the importance of data-driven policy, and enjoys collaboratively working with others to find new, innovation solutions to policy issues. Ashley especially loves advocating for women and girls, mental health, and disability justice. She is an avid road tripper and loves going to Disneyland, the beach, and to see her favorite bands.
